Rider Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 6, 2026
1. Rider Requirements
By registering as a rider on Umart, you confirm that you are a registered student at the respective campus (where applicable), have a valid ID, and maintain a functional smartphone with WhatsApp. We may perform background or identity checks before approving your account.
2. Delivery Standards
You are expected to pick up and deliver packages promptly. You must handle all packages with care and ensure they reach the buyer in the exact condition they were picked up. Any tampering with packages will result in immediate suspension and potential legal prosecution.
3. Evidence and Tracking
You must utilize the Umart platform to log package pickups and deliveries. Providing photographic evidence of pickups or drop-offs when prompted by the system is mandatory.
4. Earnings and Payouts
You earn a delivery fee for every completed order. Your earnings are accumulated in your digital wallet and disbursed weekly to your registered bank account. Disputed orders may result in withheld payouts pending investigation.
5. Safety and Compliance
You agree to follow all campus regulations and local traffic laws while making deliveries. Umart is not liable for accidents, injuries, or legal infractions you commit while fulfilling orders.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to deactivate your rider account if you consistently receive poor ratings, fail to complete deliveries, or breach any of these Terms.
