Vendor Terms of Service

1. Vendor Onboarding

As a vendor on Umart, you are responsible for providing accurate store information, including identification details where required. We reserve the right to suspend or remove your store if any information is found to be false or misleading.

2. Product Listings

You must accurately describe the products you sell. Selling counterfeit goods, illegal items, or violating intellectual property rights is strictly prohibited. We may remove product listings that violate our guidelines without prior notice.

3. Order Fulfillment & Meet-Ups

You must fulfill orders promptly. If a buyer selects "Meet-up", you must adhere to the agreed meeting time and location. Failure to fulfill orders or excessive cancellations may result in penalties, including suspension from the platform.

4. Payments and Payouts

Customer payments are held securely in escrow until the order is confirmed as delivered. Once completed, your funds are disbursed directly to your registered bank account. We deduct applicable platform commissions per our fee schedule before payout.

5. Trust & Safety

We maintain a reputation system based on buyer reviews and dispute history. Consistently poor performance, fraudulent behavior, or collusion with riders or buyers will lead to permanent bans and possible legal action.

6. Modification of Terms

Umart reserves the right to modify these Terms. Active vendors will be notified of major changes via WhatsApp or email.
